-China's New & Sustainable energy sector is poised for massive growth.

-China is planning by the of 2020 to cut carbon emissions per unit of gross domestic product between 40% to 45% from their levels in 2005,

-The aggregate output value of Chinese energy-saving and environmental protection industry is expected to exceed USD 700 billion in 2020.

-The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the country’s primary macroeconomic planner, has targeted renewable energy to make up 10 percent of China’s total energy consumption by 2010, and 15 percent by 2020, compared with 7.5 percent in 2005

-As a result of tremendous demand for energy, China is increasingly turning to the use of alternative power sources for its energy needs. Coupled with higher oil prices, power shortages, and environmental concerns, the past several years have seen the construction of hundreds of wind, waste and solar power plants, and unprecedented plans for additional alternative power generation facilities across a range of sources and technologies.

-This is creating significant real and latent markets for a multitude of related products and technologies, from turbines and generators, to batteries and detectors.

-China will receive approximately 23 percent of global investment in renewable energy between 2005 and 2030, equivalent to about $1.2 trillion, said Francois Nguyen, senior advisor to the International Energy Agency on the development of renewable energy in China.Free Trial:
